Tyler is a mixed media artist with a focus on sculpture, photography, ceramics, and painting. His design philosophy is strongly inspired by his Japanese heritage and a passion for history and philosophy. He doesn’t believe in minimalism when it comes to interiors. “When we only surround ourselves with meaningful things, there’s nothing wrong with abundance.”

He’s had a life long passion for the arts in every medium, and when he was fortunate enough to cross paths with Oda and Kit King, he was invited to study and practice with them in Ontario and Nova Scotia.

He has cycled across the United States solo. Aimlessly wandered throughout Europe for months on end. Sailed up the Nile, summited two Great Pyramids, and he even managed to spend the night in a tomb. Youthfully inspired by the beat generation of American authors, he has lived all over the United States and calls the Great Lakes area home.
